Geometry Honors (GEOH)

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • To prepare students for the SAT and for higher level mathematics.
  • To increase spatial reasoning.
  • To increase speed and accuracy of student problem solving.
  • To make students use their noggins like whoa.

HOMEWORK INFO:

  • HW is generally assigned daily.
  • HW may be in the textbook or in the student companion (SC.)
  • Students may write in (and keep) the student companion.
  • When HW is in the student companion, the HW will be denoted SC..

OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • I am generally available for office hours during 3rd and 4th lunch.  Check with me in advance if you want to make sure I am there to help you during lunch.  
  • When I am in the room, Room 209 is always open as a study zone.  There are tables at the back of the room available for study space whether I am teaching a class or not.
